Michelle Peach originally hails from the west coast of Newfoundland, where she grew up and attended school. Michelle moved to Fredericton in 1997 to continue with her Massage Therapy practice and her studies in Adult Education at the University of New Brunswick.

A professionally trained registered massage therapist, teacher, and healthy living advocate, Michelle has extensive work experience and entrepreneurial expertise. As a previous owner of a successful Fredericton business, Michelle’s passion for teaching and lifelong learning led her to the education field. She was sought after to instruct at various colleges and the University of New Brunswick, where she worked in the Biology Department and as Head Instructor for the Anatomy Lab for several years.

Michelle is a true believer in education and foundational skills, and was drawn to the Montessori method of teaching. She decided to make a long-time dream a reality by opening Fredericton’s Riverside Montessori Learning Centre (RMLC) in September 2013. For the past seven years, Michelle has researched all aspects of the Montessori method and successfully completed the training program in 2013. As Director of the RMLC, Michelle leads a team of full-time and part-time educators, all of whom offer a specific Montessori training as well as a wide-range of skills appropriate for children aged three to six..
